Madhuri has sold over 100 paintings in Canada, India, Oman, and the UAE.
Madhuri is a graduate of Sophia Polytechnic (J.J. School of Art Course)
with a 5-year diploma in Applied Art. She graduated with Honours
and was ranked 1st in Maharashtra.
Her first solo exhibition in 1988 was at the Bajaj Art Gallery in Mumbai. It sold out.
Madhuri has also held exhibitions in Oman, the UAE and Canada. In Toronto,
she participated in ‘Art in the Park’ at the Markham Museum & Historic Village.
She also exhibited her works at the South Asian Visual Arts Centre - SAVAC –
an art collective of high repute. The group shows received rave reviews and
much of the work was sold out.

Presently, Madhuri divides her time between Mumbai and Coonoor.
She continues the use of a bold colour palette and defined forms to create
abstract and figurative works across genres.
